My typical school day

Drunk text me. Text me when the music is loud and there are girls dancing around you and you’re not quite coherent and you’re not quite yourself. Drunk text me that you love me or that you miss me or that I’m on your mind. Let the alcohol tell me all the things you won’t say sober.

Yesterday I Told My Bestfriend I Was Bi, She Said She Was Too. But She Has A Boyfriend. I Want To Tell Her I Like Her But It Might Ruin Her Relationship And Our Friendship If She Doesn't Like Me, Should I Still Tell Her Or Keep It To Myself ?

Since she has a boyfriend I wouldn’t tell her. You might ruin her relationship and/or your friendship. If she breaks up with her boyfriend in the future, you can tell her. But I wouldn’t do it at this moment.

Princeton University psychologist Susan Fiske took brain scans of heterosexual men while they looked at sexualised images of women wearing bikinis. She found that the part of their brains that became activated was pre-motor - areas that usually light up when people anticipate using tools. The men were reacting to the images as if the women were objects they were going to act on. Particularly shocking was the discovery that the participants who scored highest on tests of hostile sexism were those most likely to deactivate the part of the brain that considers other people’s intentions (the medial prefrontal cortex) while looking at the pictures. These men were responding to images of the women as if they were non-human.
